How do you wash textured clip-ins?

Every eight to ten wears is plenty. Wash in a basin with sulfate-free shampoo, condition mid-shaft to ends, scrunch in a curl cream on the curly textures and air dry flat. Detangle with fingers and a wide-tooth comb from the ends up, with conditioner in, never dry. Keep heat at 350°F and below and off the wefts, which softens the bond.

How long do textured clip-in extensions last?

A virgin set worn a few times a week lasts several months to a year; the raw Indian sets go longer. What wears out is the ends and the clips, not the strands, because this is human hair rather than fiber. Take them out at night and hang or lay them flat rather than folding them into a drawer.
