What is a jerry curl texture?
A defined, uniform ringlet, tighter and more consistent than a deep wave and more structured than a natural coil. Every strand follows roughly the same curl, which is what gives it its polished, set look.
Jerry curl or deep wave?
Deep wave is an S-shaped wave running the length of the strand. Jerry curl is a true ringlet that spirals. Jerry curl reads more defined and holds its shape longer between washes; deep wave is easier to brush out into volume.
How much does jerry curl shrink?
Around three inches. The ringlet pulls up considerably when wet, and length on the tag is measured stretched.
How many jerry curl bundles do I need?

How do I keep the ringlets separated?
Scrunch, do not comb. Apply a curl cream or light gel to wet hair, scrunch upward, and let it air dry without touching it. Handling it while it dries is what turns defined ringlets into frizz.
Can jerry curl be worn straight?
It presses straight and reverts with water, but a defined ringlet takes more heat to release than a wave does. Frequent pressing will loosen it permanently.
