The tightest coil we carry, a dense springy 4-type pattern rather than a wave. It is the closest match to natural 4A and 4B hair and the only texture here that blends with a barely stretched natural leave-out.

Four inches or more. This is the highest-shrinkage texture on the site and length is measured stretched, so buy well above your target if you want the hair to hang rather than sit.

Two to three for a full head. The coil is dense enough that it fills in faster than any other texture, so most installs need fewer bundles than a straight or waved look at the same length.

This is the closest match we carry. For 4C specifically, expect to stretch or lightly blow out your leave-out at the root so the two patterns meet cleanly, then let both revert.

Co-wash weekly, detangle only wet and saturated with conditioner, and work in sections from the ends up. Never brush it dry. A bonnet at night is not optional with a coil this tight.

It presses straight and reverts with water, but it takes the most heat of any texture here to do it. Frequent pressing will loosen the coil permanently, so treat it as an occasional change rather than a routine.
