Kinky Straight Clip-In Hair Extensions

Kinky straight is not silky straight. It is the texture of 4A to 4C hair that has been stretched or blown out — straight in direction, but with body and a slight grain that catches the light the way natural hair does. That is what makes it the easiest set in this line to blend if you wear your hair pressed, banded or blown out rather than defined.

The thing to plan for: your own leave-out has to be stretched to match. Clipped into shrunken 4C hair, a straight extension shows the seam immediately, because the two textures are running in different directions. Band it, blow it out on cool, or wear it after a silk press and the track disappears. This set takes heat, so you can flat iron it to match your own without damage at 350°F or below.

The set is nine wefts on double-stitched bands with pressure clips: two 9-inch, three 7-inch, two 5-inch and two 3-inch, three clips each, 160 grams in total. Work from the nape up in horizontal sections so no two wefts stack on each other.
