These human hair bundles are 100% virgin hair, and the wave in them is set with steam rather than chemicals. That is what you notice in month two: the pattern comes back after every wash instead of relaxing out. Every weft is double machine wefted, so you can cut one down without watching it unravel in your hands.

How to choose your texture, length and bundle count
Pick the texture against your own hair first if you are leaving any out. Kinky straight and afro kinky curly blend with unrelaxed 4-type hair. Yaki straight carries the grain of pressed hair. Straight, body wave and loose wave are the low-effort end of the range; deep wave, water wave and the curls are where the volume is.
Buy longer than you think on a curl pattern. Length is measured with the hair pulled straight, so a 20-inch deep wave hangs closer to 15 or 16 inches once the pattern springs up. Two inches over your target is usually right, four on a tight coil.
Mix lengths if you want the install to move. One bundle two inches shorter than the other two, sewn in at the top, gives you layers instead of a block.
Questions people ask before they buy bundles
What are hair bundles?
Hair bundles are lengths of hair sewn onto a weft, sold by weight, and installed onto braided-down hair. One bundle is not one head of hair, which is why they are bought in twos, threes and fours. These are human hair, not fiber, so they wash, curl and flat iron like your own.
What is a sew-in?
A sew-in is a weave where your own hair is braided flat to the scalp and the wefts are stitched to those braids with a needle and thread. Nothing is glued and nothing touches your scalp. It is the most protective way to wear a hair weave, because your own hair is tucked away for the whole install.
How many bundles do I need for a sew-in?
Three bundles cover a full sew-in at 18 inches and under. Past 22 inches, buy four. Hair tapers as it gets longer, so the bottom of a 26-inch bundle carries far less weight than the top and three will read thin at the ends.
How many bundles do I need with a frontal or a closure?
The same count. Three bundles under 18 inches, four past 22, plus the lace piece. A closure finishes the crown and a frontal finishes the hairline, but the bundles still have to fill the rest of the head.
What is a quick weave, and how long does it last?
A quick weave is bonded, not sewn, and it lasts two to four weeks. Wefts are glued to a protective cap worn over your own flattened hair, which is why it goes in inside an hour. The trade-off for the speed is that the adhesive is hard on the hairline if you repeat it back to back.
How long does a sew-in last, and how long does it take?
Six to eight weeks in the hair, three to five hours in the chair. Leaving one past eight weeks is what causes matting at the braid base, and it is your own hair that pays for it, not the bundles. Taken down on schedule, one set of virgin bundles reinstalls three or four more times.

How many bundles do I need for my install?

Can I wash my bundles?
Yes, absolutely. Shampooing and conditioning are key steps in hair care. Cleanse your bundles once per week, or more often if you notice any product buildup. We send out care tips with each order, so you'll have all the information you need.
Can I swim with hair bundles installed?
Yes, you can swim with your bundles installed. But, they'll need extra TLC before and after! Use a leave-in conditioner before you jump in to limit the amount of chlorine or salt your hair absorbs. After, shampoo and condition and apply a light leave-in product for moisture.
Can I dye my bundles?
It depends on the bundles! Virgin bundles that come in the color Natural Black have not been pre-colored, so they are ok to be dyed or lifted. Our #27 Dark Blonde and #613 Blonde bundles can be colored with deposit-only color or toner, but shouldn't be bleached any further. Our pre-dyed bundles that come in colors #1 Jet Black, #2 Chocolate Brown, #4 Caramel Brown, and Vibrant Burgundy shouldn't be processed any further.
Can I apply hot tools to my bundles?
Yes! Our bundles are made of 100% virgin human hair, so they can be styled exactly like your own hair. Blow dry it, iron it, curl it- just be sure to use a heat protectant spray!
