Raw Indian Curly Clip-In Hair Extensions

This is raw temple hair from South East India, single-donor and unprocessed, with the cuticle intact and running in one direction. The curl you get is the curl it grew in — a loose, bouncy 3A to 3B pattern that has not been steam-set or chemically reformed. It is the top of the Mayvenn clip-in range and it is priced accordingly.

Two things follow from raw hair that you should decide about before ordering. First, the pattern varies from set to set, and slightly weft to weft. That is what unprocessed means, and it is why raw hair moves like real hair — but if you want twelve identical ringlets, buy a processed texture instead. Second, because the cuticle is intact, this hair takes color: it will lift to a #613 at a salon, and it lasts a year or more with care where a processed set gives you months.

The set is seven wefts on double-stitched bands: two 8-inch with four clips, three 6-inch with three clips and two 4-inch with two clips, 140 grams in total. Wash in a basin with sulfate-free shampoo, condition mid-shaft to ends, scrunch in a curl cream and air dry flat. Skip the heat and the curl resets every wash.
