Thirteen inches of lace across the hairline and four inches back — the standard frontal size, and the easiest one to install. HD lace sits close enough to the scalp that most people never bleach a knot or tint the lace. Part it anywhere, wear it half-up, or take it into a low ponytail without showing a track.

Raw is about the donor, not the chemistry. This frontal is hand-tied from single-donor hair that has never been dyed, relaxed or silicone-coated, so every strand is the same age with the cuticles running one direction. That is what keeps the perimeter from frizzing after a few washes, and what makes the knots lift evenly instead of patchy. The S-wave is steam-set — heat and moisture, no chemicals — which is why the hair is still raw and why the wave comes back on its own after every wash.

Body wave is the forgiving texture. Enough movement to hide a melt that isn't perfect, enough weight to hold a part where you set it, and it looks styled on a day you did nothing to it. The trade-off is length: the wave eats close to an inch, so a 20" frontal reads shorter than 20" of straight hair.

Which length should I order?

Match your shortest bundle, or go one length shorter. A frontal that hangs longer than the hair behind it reads wrong at the crown. 14" pairs with 14"–18" installs; 20" is the call once your bundles are 20" and up.

Do I have to bleach the knots?

Usually not. HD lace with small single knots is already close to invisible on most skin tones. If your stylist does bleach, use a low-volume developer and rinse the moment the knots turn soft brown — over-processing is what thins the lace and starts the shedding.
