How it works

Complete the look

A 13x4 lace frontal that runs ear to ear, mimicking your natural hairline and opening up every parting option. Baby hairs along the hairline can be tweezed and laid to suit your face.

Transparent lace blends into most skin tones with no bleaching or tinting, and the yaki straight texture matches our bundles exactly — the grain of pressed hair, not a glassy finish. 100% virgin human hair.

Pair it with Brazilian yaki straight bundles, or go smaller with the 4x4 transparent lace closure.

Frequently asked questions

Is the hairline pre-plucked?

The hairline on Mayvenn's lace frontals isn't pre-plucked, but it can be fully customized so that the frontal can fit your desired look.

Are the knots on the frontal bleached?

No, the knots on the frontals are not pre-bleached so that they can be customized to match your skin tone. Need help? One of our Mayvenn Certified Stylists can help you customize your frontal with quality, professional products.

How long will a lace frontal last?

The longevity of your frontal depends largely on your care and maintenance at home. Making sure that it's properly detangled, the knots aren't overprocessed, and that it's protected from heat damage all help your frontal last throughout your entire install!

Can I re-use my lace frontal?

No, it's best to not re-use your lace frontal - unless you've used it to create a custom wig that you can take on and off. Getting a fresh frontal for each install ensures that your look will last!

How many bundles do I need with a lace frontal?

With a frontal, Mayvenn recommends 2 bundles for installs up to 14 inches and 3 bundles for 16 inches and longer. Order the frontal in the same texture and color as your bundles.

Can I part a lace frontal anywhere?

Yes, you can part a frontal anywhere on its 13"x4" of parting space. This means that you can achieve a variety of parts all along your front hairline with ease!

Can I apply hot tools to my frontal?

Yes! Our frontals are made of 100% virgin human hair, so they can be styled exactly like your own hair. Blow dry it, iron it, curl it - just be sure to use a heat protectant spray!

How long does shipping take?

Most Mayvenn orders arrive in 1-3 business days, and orders placed by 12 PM ET on a business day ship the same day. Standard shipping is $4 (3-5 business days) and Express is $9.99 (2-3 business days), free on orders of $120 or more.

The texture is everything!

I love the texture, I just wish that hair comes in wigs. I made my own wig, came out great but I wish I didn’t have to make my own wig. I love that the frontal was pre-plucked, another wish for a pre-made wig. Not Mayvenn fault, but I wish there was more stylist in my area.
