Welcome to the official Terms & Conditions page for the "Mayvenn Pays Your Rent Contest." Please read the following terms carefully as they govern participation in the contest.

 

 

Eligibility

  • The contest is open to residents of the United States, excluding residents of California.

  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Employees of Mayvenn, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

  • Participants must purchase any Mayvenn product between February 1 and February 28, 11:59 PM PST, to qualify.

 

 

How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Purchase any Mayvenn product during the contest period.

  2. Create an original photo or video showcasing their styling skills or finished looks using Mayvenn hair products.

  3. Post their content on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

  4. Tag @Mayvennhair in their post and use the hashtag #MayvennPayMyRent.

  5. Ensure their social media profile is set to public.

  6. All submissions must be received by March 10, 11:59 PM PST.

  7. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

 

 

What Type of Content Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for vibrant, creative, and visually stunning submissions that make the hair the star of the show! Your content should highlight the beauty, quality, and versatility of Mayvenn hair products while showcasing your styling talent. Whether it’s a sleek everyday look or a bold, artistic style, the focus should always be on the hair.

Here’s what we’d love to see:

  • Eye-Catching Hairstyles: Make the hair the centerpiece by highlighting its texture, shine, and movement. Show off your skills with detailed styling and polished finishing.

  • Fun and Engaging Edits: Creative video transitions, trendy effects, and playful ideas are highly encouraged for reels or TikToks.

  • Dynamic Angles: Include close-ups, slow-motion shots, or 360° views to capture all the details of your look.

  • Perfect Music Pairing: Choose upbeat, trendy, or stylish tracks that match the energy and vibe of your look. A great song can enhance the mood and make your submission even more memorable.

  • Authentic Vibes: Let your personality shine through while keeping the styling professional and captivating.

Remember, we’re looking for submissions that grab attention, tell a story, and showcase why Mayvenn hair is the ultimate choice for any style. Have fun, get creative, and make it pop with the perfect soundtrack!

 

 

Judging Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of Mayvenn team members based on creativity, skill, lighting and presentation, and uniqueness. Judges will assess how unique and imaginative the styling or concept is, the quality of techniques and overall execution, the visual appeal of the content, and what makes the submission stand out. Contestants should bring their A-game by dressing up and making a statement with their looks—this is the time to show up and show out! Judging decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

 

 

Prizes

  • One winner will be selected.

  • The winner will receive:

    1. Rent payment for one month.

    2. Booth rent payment for the winner’s stylist for one month, combined not exceeding $5,000.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and will be issued in the form of a deposit.

  • If the selected winner does not have a stylist, the booth payment portion will be forfeited.

  • The winner and their affiliated stylist must verify the rent and booth amounts.

 

 

Winner Announcement

  • The winner will be announced via Instagram on March 15, 2025.

 

General Terms

By entering the contest, participants:

  1. Agree to abide by these terms and all decisions of the judging panel.

  2. Grant Mayvenn the right to use their submitted content for marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes.

  3. Acknowledge that all content collected through the contest, including submissions, may be used by Mayvenn with unlimited usage rights.

  4. Participants represent and warrant that their submission is original, does not infringe on any third-party rights, and complies with all applicable platform guidelines.
  5. Mayvenn reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these terms or contains inappropriate, offensive, or fraudulent content.
  6. Mayvenn is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or other unforeseen errors that may affect participation.

 

 

Privacy

  • Participant information will be used solely for the purpose of contest administration.

  • By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their information in accordance with Mayvenn’s Privacy Policy.

 

 

Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Mayvenn, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and partners from any claims or liability arising out of participation in the contest or acceptance of any prize.

  • Mayvenn reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if circumstances beyond its control compromise its integrity.

 

 

Disputes

  • This contest is governed by the laws of the United States.

  • Any disputes arising out of or related to the contest will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United States.
