If you haven't been watching the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, the rock you're sleeping under must be mighty comfortable! Our country's greatest and most renowned athletes have touched down in Brazil and have been dominating the competition in proper American fashion.
Although Serena's Olympic run has been cut short, we loved seeing her play with such passion and determination. Serena Williams knows strength AND beauty. In honor of the queen of #BlackGirlMagic, we'll show you how to get her Olympic gold hairstyle for yourself. Check out the steps for achieving her cover-look below!
**Step 1: **To recreate this look we used 3 bundles of our Brazilian Body Wave in 12" and 14", with a 14" Lace closure. Install the closure with the part off-center to achieve her deep part.
Step 2. Spray and Tease: To create this voluminous and tousled look, spray the hair and roots with a wave texturizing spray. Run your hands through the hair separating the waves into pieces.
Step 3. Curl: To perfect the messy look, take a 1" curling iron and work your way through the hair, curling 1" pieces in a different direction than the original curls so the pattern looks more random and natural.
**Step 4. Finish the look: **To finish off this look, spray the curls with soft-hold spray and tousle using your fingers again to ensure volume!
Now all that’s left to do is take that fierce selfie. **Be sure to share your pic with us via social with the hashtag ****#MayvennMoves **to be entered to win $250 towards any Mayvenn bundles!
